Rice Law Firm Attorney Beth King was named Woman of the Year by the Volusia Flagler Association for Women Lawyers at their annual membership meeting on Thursday June13, 2019 at the Halifax River Yacht Club.
Ms. King a 15 year member of the organization and past president received the award for her service to the people of Volusia and Flagler County; her substantial contribution to areas of concern and importance to women; her integration within a work area or profession traditionally occupied by men; her outstanding service and leadership in her chosen profession; her achievements and recognition in her field; and her service as a positive example or role model for other women.
Ms. King practices in the area of divorce and family law and is known for her service on the boards of several non-profits including the Peabody Foundation, Cinematique of Daytona Beach and Presbyterian Counseling Center.
